SLI Systems Expands International Presence with Offices in Silicon Valley and the U.K., Adds to Sales and Business Development Teams

Hosted Search Provider Addresses Growing Demand for Offerings in North America and Europe

CUPERTINO, CA - November 21, 2005 - S.L.I. Systems, Inc., a provider of on-demand search services for Internet and e-commerce sites, today announced that it has opened new offices in Silicon Valley and London, to respond to growing global demand for its suite of hosted search offerings. The new Silicon Valley office, located in Cupertino, CA, will serve as SLI Systems' North American headquarters, and the London site will serve as a European sales office.

SLI Systems also named Jordan Zweigoron as director, business and channel development, and hired two new sales directors -- Bryan Carr and David Gettinger -- reporting to SLI Vice President of Sales Ed Hoffman, former sales director for Inktomi and its predecessors Ultraseek Corp. and Infoseek.

"We are seeing increased interest from retailers and Internet sites around the globe and felt it was necessary to expand our presence in order to serve them more effectively," said Dr. Shaun Ryan, CEO of SLI Systems. Prior to joining SLI Systems, Zweigoron oversaw business development for Webex Communications. In his new role at SLI Systems, he will be responsible for building partnerships with industry leaders in order to provide a comprehensive solution and to help more clients benefit from SLI's search offerings. Carr formerly worked for Level 3 Communications and Network Associates; and Gettinger was previously in sales for NetIQ.
