Solution Fuels Higher Conversion with Search-Engine-Optimized Site Navigation

SLI Systems issued the news from SLI Connect 2015, the company’s second annual North American e-commerce summit taking place at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Learning Navigation is a hosted website navigation solution leveraging SLI’s patented learning platform to provide visitors with the most relevant options on site navigation pages. The cloud service monitors visitors’ real-world usage of the site and reprioritizes the products presented on any given navigation page in order of the likelihood that visitors will select them. This strategy increases conversion by making it easier for shoppers to find the products they’re most inclined to purchase. The new release continues to offer this benefit while expanding the flexibility and control retailers have over the online shopper experience using Learning Navigation.

  • Clean, compact URLs – Serves up concise, descriptive navigation page URLs for users and search engines, making pages easier for shoppers to pick out from search results.
  • Search engine indexing – Enables more granular control of which pages and how many combinations of refinements are indexed by search engines.
  • Prevention of duplicate content – Improved indexation control ensures pages with duplicate content will not get indexed, enabling the pages to rank higher in search engine results.
  • Speed and Redundancy – Learning Navigation pages now load faster with enterprise-level reliability and scalability via a redundant, cloud-based architecture.
