SLI Systems Appoints Neil Thomas Chief Revenue Officer and President of North America

Software as a Service (SaaS) industry veteran to spearhead next wave of growth

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – 11 November, 2014SLI Systems (SLI.NZ) today announced the appointment of Neil Thomas as its new Chief Revenue Officer and President of North America. Thomas joins SLI from the Palo Alto-based Adaptive Insights, a global leader in cloud-based business analytics. He has a near twenty-year track record for establishing, developing and continuously improving highly successful global sales teams.

As Adaptive Insights Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Thomas founded the company’s sales team and drove its customer base from launch to thousands of enterprises in over 85 countries and clear leadership as the cloud leader in corporate performance management and business intelligence. Prior to that he enjoyed success in senior sales roles at the internet-based enterprise business planning software provider Adaytum. Before this he was at the market leading business intelligence software firm Cognos, which is now part of IBM.

Thomas will lead SLI’s global sales effort from the company’s U.S. office in San Jose commencing December 1, 2014.
